Job Title: AWS Architect
Location: Reston, VA or Philadelphia, PA (Onsite - Locals)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design and lead the future-state architecture of a hybrid observability platform (on-prem AWS) supporting significant data pipeline growth. This role will act as the primary architect, driving scalable, resilient, and robust observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead AWS Architect for observability platform design and strategy
• Translate business and technical requirements into AWS-based architectural solutions
• Assess existing observability implementations and recommend scalability and performance improvements
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, SREs, and engineering teams on design and implementation

Required Skills:

• Expert-level AWS architecture experience
• Strong background in observability platforms and tooling
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar logging and distributed tracing standards
• Knowledge of metrics, monitoring, and alerting tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing large-scale hybrid (on-prem cloud) observability solutions
• Background supporting high-volume data pipelines
