Crisis Clinician MCI (Per Diem)

Crisis Clinicians have the opportunity to gain comprehensive diagnostic and clinical skills with a broad population, including children and adults!  Work is fast-paced, but clinicians receive clinical supervision for each client seen by an experienced, independently licensed supervisor. 

Competitive salary plus $8/hour shift differential for working on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday-Friday 8pm-8am!

The team of crisis clinicians provides psychiatric emergency services to children, adults, and families who are at serious risk of harming themselves or others. Our emergency services are available to clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The crisis intervention team evaluates and stabilizes the crisis, and makes referrals to the most appropriate level of care. Psychiatric consultation and medication are available.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other mental health discipline
• Training in assessing adults in crisis, as well as competency in assessing children and their families in crisis
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Crisis Intervention setting or related field placement in a Crisis Intervention setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols
• Experience in providing follow-up and referral services to ensure continuity of care
