About the Wound Nurse (RN) Role
As a Wound Nurse (RN) at Aspire Senior Living Moberly, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional wound care to our residents. Wound Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized wound care plans, as well as collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough wound assessments and develop individualized wound care plans
- Implement and maintain wound care plans, including wound dressings, medication management, and other treatments
- Monitor and document wound progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate residents, families, and staff on wound care and prevention strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to facilitate best practices and improve patient outcomes

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri
- Experience in Infection prevention, wound or related skills preferred
- Strong knowledge of wound care principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
