Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a CRNA. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current State of Michigan RN License
- Current certification through the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists with compliance with all continuing education requirements.
- Graduate of approved CRNA program
- Current State of Michigan CRNA Specialty Certification
- Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision and in collaboration with a physician, the CRNA will fulfill responsibilities according to educational preparation, clinical expertise and established standards, protocols and practices of advanced practice nurses. Responsibilities include the administration of anesthetics and adjunctive medications to render patients insensible to pain; monitoring patient's condition while under anesthesia; initiation of corrective actions using professional judgment; and functioning as a team member to perform preoperative reassessment, preoperative assessment, anesthetic management and post-anesthesia care of the patient.
