We're looking for a Legal & Operations Assistant to support our attorneys and firm leadership. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both the legal and operational sides of a law firm — from preparing estate planning and real estate documents to assisting with technology, HR, and process improvement projects.
What You'll Do
- Support attorneys with document preparation for estate planning and real estate matters.
- Coordinate client meetings, closings, and document signings.
- Help maintain accurate files in Clio Manage, Lawmatics, and related systems.
- Work with the COO on data migration, technology integrations, and process improvements.
- Assist with HR coordination, onboarding, and policy updates.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team/CFO on data accuracy and reporting.
- Provide direct administrative support to the COO and Managing Attorney.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years' experience in a law firm or operations-focused role (estate planning or real estate preferred).
- Confident using technology and managing multiple software systems.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating needs.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Discreet, reliable, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
