Aspire Indiana Health is seeking an Addictions Therapist in Hamilton County who will will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.
Education/Experience/Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
- Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
- Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
- Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
- Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred
Licensure
- Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana or license eligible
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) by the State of Indiana, a plus
