Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for someone to be responsible with patient contact and instruction involving CPAP, BIPAP and Home Oxygen needs.
Responsibilities
- Instruction on the safe use of CPAP/BIPAP
- Proper facial apparatus fitting
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate respiratory status, vital signs, and oxygen needs.
- Operate and troubleshoot CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory devices with technical proficiency.
- Monitor patients’ responses to therapy, adjusting CPAP settings and interventions as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of Respiratory Therapy program and/or currently a credential Respiratory Therapist
Skills
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, and other respiratory devices.
- Familiarity with DME protocols for outpatient care/services; experience working with electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; compassionate approach to patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
