We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and commercial electrical systems. You will serve as the face of our company, delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service directly to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical malfunctions in systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Install and upgrade electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections to ensure safety and system reliability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Educate customers on system operations and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Provide clear, accurate cost estimates to clients before starting work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company service vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Completion of a trade school program, electrical certification, or apprenticeship preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical service or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, testing equipment, and hand tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
