What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Loan Processor position at Aspire Community Federal Credit Union?
Aspire Credit Union in Minot, ND is looking for an energetic and service minded individual with an enthusiasm to learn while serving our members. We are now hiring a full-time Real Estate Loan Processor. This person will be primarily responsible for assisting members and mortgage loan officers through the entire mortgage process including signing papers, documenting and funding the loans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Real Estate Loans in accordance with Aspire policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of all member and credit union information.
- Review and verify loan documentation to confirm proper signatures, dates, and required data are complete and accurate.
- Assist members with signing loan documents, entering loans into the computer system, and disbursing funds.
- Provide support for loan advances on agricultural operating loans and real estate construction loans.
- Serve as backup for consumer loan processing, assisting as needed to maintain workflow and service levels.
- Manage and review escrow accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Track loan files and communicate effectively with members throughout the home loan process, ensuring timely updates and excellent service.
- Coordinate with appraisers and third-party vendors to order, track, and update required documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle incoming calls for the Loan Department and assist with calls for the credit union as needed. Provide members with basic information, transfer calls to the appropriate Loan Officer, document messages clearly, and ensure proper follow-up.

- Financial/Lending knowledge required; Mortgage Lending/Processing knowledge preferred

EXPECTED HOURS:
· 40 hours per week with varying hours

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
