What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Loan Processor position at Aspire Community Federal Credit Union?
- Make sure members have full coverage insurance on all collateral listed on loan documents. Ensure members have current homeowner’s insurance, and flood insurance (if applicable). Make sure Aspire is listed as a loss payee on all policies. Contact agent or member when they are past due, or insurance has not been received.
- Maintain all State National reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Track and maintain escrow accounts. Including sending checks to insurance companies. and the individual counties for property taxes. Contact agent or member when the member is past due or insurance has not been received.
- Help complete the escrow analysis on an annual basis.
- Refer all loan applications to the Loan Officers.
- Answer the telephone for the Loan Department and the rest of the credit union as necessary. Provide members with routine information, and/or route calls to appropriate Loan Officers. Take messages and coordinate follow-through.
- Assist Loan Officers in obtaining credit reports when needed.
- Back up for Lead Loan Mortgage Processor to assist with real estate loan documents as needed.
- Help members sign loan papers as backup for Loan Officers if needed.
- Book and upload loans on the computer system and advance funds to the member.
- Assist and track loan advances on real estate construction loans.
- Ensure that all loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data.
- If documents are missing or incorrect, he/she is responsible for following up until the documents are received.
- Assemble, scan and index loan files and verify accuracy of loan documentation.
- Make sure all titles, UCC-1, mortgages, satisfactions, or any other documents that must be sent away for recording in order to properly perfect our security interest is completed.
- File GAP and/or MRC (Warranty) claims.
- Complete the paid-off loan report each month, file paid off loan paper in the member’s inactive file, release and return appropriate collateral documents to the member.
- Responsible for paid-off loan report processing.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
