Job Title: Lead Caregiver (Female Leads) – Medford & Josephine County Area
Location: Medford & Josephine County Area, OR
Pay: $18/hr, Guaranteed 40 hours/week

Position Summary:
The Lead Caregiver is an essential part of our team! This role includes performing the full range of caregiving duties and taking on additional responsibilities as a lead within the team. You will assist Care Advocates, provide guidance to other caregivers, and help with client follow-ups. We are specifically looking for two female caregivers with the ability to cover a variety of shifts. One Lead Caregiver should have availability Sunday-Thursday, and the other Tuesday-Saturday. A strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide weekend coverage, particularly Friday and Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
Caregiving Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage in activities with clients.
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Shop and run errands for clients, handling their money with integrity.
- Perform routine housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning).
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
- Provide medication administration and maintain accurate medication records.
- Assist clients with daily activities, including toileting, meal planning, and personal hygiene.
- Work with clients suffering from various conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, and hospice care.
Care Advocate Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist Care Advocates in training and mentoring caregivers.
- Complete assessments (30-day, 90-day) for clients.
- Ensure accurate and complete client paperwork, including care plans and medication logs.
- Handle client and caregiver issues, reporting concerns to management and scheduling.
- Support the onboarding of new caregivers and handle necessary follow-up.
In-Office Duties:
- Clean and maintain breakrooms and office spaces as needed.
- Assist with incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel.
- Perform general office-related tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be located in the Medford & Josephine County area.
- Must be able to work full-time with guaranteed 40 hours, including weekends.
- Availability for either Sunday-Thursday shifts or Tuesday-Saturday shifts, with special emphasis on providing Friday and Saturday coverage.
- Must be on call 24/7 for 5 days a week, including overnight shifts unless otherwise discussed.
- Must answer phone calls within 30 minutes and be able to reach a client’s location within 30 minutes of being notified.
- Must be willing to take on any shift and visit assigned clients as part of guaranteed hours.
- Flexibility to assist Care Advocates with training, client follow-up, and office support tasks.
