About the Role
Aspire Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors and clients in Salem, OR and nearby areas. This role is ideal for caregivers who value connection, consistency, and providing quality care in a one-on-one setting.
Previous caregiving or DSP experience is preferred (2 years), but paid training and on-site orientation are provided to help you succeed.
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Run errands and complete grocery shopping
- Provide pet care as needed
- Safely transport clients to appointments and community outings
Caregiver Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Ability to speak and communicate clearly in English
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Availability for weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and skills assessment
- Willingness to attend a paid, on-site skills assessment and orientation
