We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery- Break Relief to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery- Break Relief, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality and food safety standards, and supporting efficient workflow across multiple production areas. This role is vital to maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 2 PM
- Weekend Availability: Required
- Operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to maintain product quality and specification standards.
- Monitor product quality and complete required documentation to support compliance and operational excellence.
- Support line startups, changeovers, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP and safety requirements.
- Rotate across production and packaging functions to support operational priorities and staffing needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment and product-related issues to minimize downtime and support efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and climbing for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience in food manufacturing environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify basic mechanical issues.
