YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Learning and Development Compliance Training Specialist for the Residential Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) Program is responsible for creating, coordinating, and delivering training which supports and sustains program and contract compliance with Medi-Cal documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- In consultation with the leadership team, develops, coordinates, and Implements new hire and annual training specific to behavioral health contract standards.
- Coordinates and delivers training that builds competency in alignment with program standards and contract compliance.
- Ensures new staff receive timely introductory training and reviews related staff documentation, provides feedback, and coaching during staff’s introductory period.
- Provides re-training and documentation review when indicated.
- Implements training through various learning methods (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online and in person both individual and groups)
- Designs and produces training material, including e-learning courses.
- Evaluates learning effectiveness.
- Monitors training compliance and related administrative duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- BA Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience providing Medi-Cal compliant documentation.
- Experience providing related services in a youth setting desired.
- Familiarity with instructional design and development using training authoring tools.
- Experience with administering e-learning and instructor led training content and programs.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Meets all state required conditions of employment; i.e. fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report)
