Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment, such as backhoes, loaders, grader, bulldozers, rollers and pavers. Your mechanical knowledge and skills will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, grader and rollers
- Safely and efficiently maneuver equipment to perform tasks such as concrete removals, excavation, finish grading. etc...
- Follow project plans and instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish project goals
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Ability to operate a dump truck is a plus
- Class A driver's license would be a huge advantage
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
