Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Operations Analyst to support and enhance our procure-to-pay (P2P) processes using the Coupa platform. This role is responsible for executing and strengthening internal controls, including SOX compliance reviews, vendor setup audits, and workflow approval audits. The analyst will evaluate end-to-end P2P processes to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.This position also supports quarterly and patch Coupa releases, ensuring system updates are tested, validated, and implemented smoothly with minimal disruption to operations. The ideal candidate combines accounting knowledge, analytical expertise, and reporting skills to drive insights, improve processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency across the procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SOX control testing and reviews related to procurement and accounts payable processes
- Conduct vendor setup audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies
- Review and audit workflow approvals to validate proper authorization and segregation of duties
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards within Coupa to support monitoring and decision-making
- Analyze end-to-end P2P processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses
- Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and streamline operations
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure alignment on policies and system functionality
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and insights
- Monitor data integrity and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree 2 years of related experience preferred
