Reports to: Senior Director, Field Operations What’s in it for you? • $170,000–$185,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) • Monthly profit-sharing based on hospital performance • Unlimited CE allowance • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits 401k with match • 4-day workweek with no on-call or overnight shifts • Path to hospital OWNERSHIP Duties/Responsibilities: • Leadership & Culture: Serves as the clinical leader and cultural driver, overseeing Associate DVMs and supporting hospital-wide performance and retention initiatives. • Mentorship & Talent Development: Partners with support teams to recruit, mentor, and develop veterinary staff through structured training and growth plans. • Operational Oversight: Implements and refines workflows, pricing, client service, and compliance protocols to align with hospital and enterprise goals. Strong understanding of operational KPIs, including but not limited to financial and budgetary data, people and culture data, and client satisfaction data and is able to utilize to make informed decisions. • Client & Clinical Excellence: Ensures the best veterinary medicine is practiced daily, supports use of advanced equipment, and drives high client satisfaction. • Strategic Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with HR, operations, and compliance teams to support performance management, staffing, and regulatory readiness. • Patient Care: Maintains a reduced caseload and up-to-date clinical skills to support hospital needs.
