We are currently hiring for a full time Hospitalist within the Medical Staff department here at Aspen Valley Health. Work Shift: Flexible Compensation Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position. Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities Conducts patient examinations and procedures. Reviews patient charts and makes updates accordingly. Orders and reviews diagnostic studies. Develops individualized patient treatment plans based on diagnostic results. Prescribe medications for treatment for inpatients. Involved in admission and discharge planning. Skills and Abilities Ability to concentrate and show attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to learn, recall, and implement established policies and procedures. Ability to interact with customers of all ages and adapt to language and learning barriers and technology challenges. Ability to work independently and meet objectives despite constraints. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to use technology and software to meet objectives. Ability to perform expected duties during an emergency. Working Conditions Normal hospital environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, or temperature. Prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. Position Overview: The Hospitalist specializes in the care of inpatients and has expertise in caring for complicated hospitalized patients daily. The Hospitalist coordinates the care of patients in the hospital and organizes the communication between different doctors caring for a patient and serves as the point of contact for questions, updates and delineating a comprehensive plan of care.
