We are currently hiring for a PRN Surgical Technologist within the Surgery department here at Aspen Valley Health.
Work Shift
Rotating - 10 Hours
Compensation Range
$36.40 - $58.25 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Position Overview
Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures. Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner. The Surgical Technologist (ST) will communicate with all other members of the Perioperative team to give the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period. The ST works collaboratively with co-workers, stocks and orders of supplies for department. The ST provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
This Position Offers
As a PRN employee, you will be eligible to purchase discounted bus passes for transportation to and from work, 457B, and also participate in a number of AVH hosted programs.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- 2 years recent O.R. experience preferred.
- Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
