We are seeking a skilled Utility Line Clearance (Tree Work) Climber to join our dedicated team in Northern New Jersey Area. This role is vital in helping us maintain safe and healthy trees around utility lines, supporting our mission to serve the community with excellence and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Climb and prune trees near utility lines using industry-standard techniques.
- Rig and dismantle trees safely using rigging equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and other specialized equipment efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
- Assist in the assessment of tree health and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper use at all times.
Qualifications
- 2 years or more Prior experience as a tree climber, arborist, or line clearance worker preferred.
- Ability to climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other climbing gear.
- Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper pruning techniques.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- Utility line clearance certification or willingness to obtain
