What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician (Entry Level) position at Aspen Technologies AZ?
We're hiring: Low Voltage Technician (Entry Level) — Tempe, AZ
Aspen Technologies is building our Tempe team. We've been in business since 1991 — same owner, a low-voltage division of about 175 people, and a family atmosphere where people stay and grow.
We're looking for an entry-level low voltage technician for data center and commercial work in the Tempe / Phoenix area. If you've pulled cable, worked construction, or done any hands-on technical work and want to learn the trade, we'll train you — terminating and testing Cat6/6A and fiber, rack and stack, cable tray, and reading prints. Crews start around 6:30 AM and most work is new construction.
What you bring:
- Some hands-on or construction experience; any cabling or data center exposure is a plus
- Your own basic hand tools and boots
- Reliable transportation, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a clean background/drug screen for badge-controlled sites
- OSHA 10 a plus — attitude and reliability matter most
Pay and benefits:
- $19–$27/hr depending on experience
- Benefits begin the first of the month after 60 days: three health plans (Aspen pays the lion's share), dental/vision, short- and long-term disability, company-paid life insurance, and 401k
- Paid holidays after 90 days; vacation that grows with tenure — up to 120 hours by year five
- Crew profit bonuses on projects that come in under budget and on time
Interested? Send your resume to jschulze@aspentechaz.net or call 480-315-1700 — I'd like to talk.
