Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Care for floors through proper cleaning techniques like floor care procedures to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure all areas are well-equipped for guest needs.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures aligned with health standards to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality-related roles is preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and custodial practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is advantageous but not required.
