Part-Time Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator
We are seeking a dependable, experienced individual to oversee the maintenance and operation of our three dental office locations. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a background in facilities maintenance, property management, or building operations who is looking for a flexible schedule.
Retired maintenance professionals, building engineers, or skilled tradespeople are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and able to work independently to keep our offices safe, functional, and well-maintained for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and general upkeep of three dental office locations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, flooring, and other building systems.
- Perform minor repairs as appropriate and coordinate outside contractors for specialized work.
- Schedule and oversee vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality work and timely completion.
- Ensure all facilities remain clean, safe, and compliant with applicable building and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from office managers and staff.
- Maintain maintenance records and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist with office improvement projects, equipment moves, and facility upgrades as needed.
- Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, commercial building maintenance, property management, or a related field.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work across multiple locations.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between our three office locations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine maintenance tasks.
