Join our dedicated healthcare team as a weekend shift Caregiver/Medtech, working weekends Saturday and Sunday. As a Medtech, you will support residents with their daily needs, administer medications, and monitor health status, ensuring safety and comfort during your shift. Duties

• Administer PRN medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document medication administration using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Provide specialized dementia care, employing behavior management techniques to promote resident well-being
• Support residents with assisted living tasks like toileting, cleaning, and housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Document incidents, shift reports, and resident progress thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations
• Engage in social work activities by supporting residents’ emotional needs and fostering positive interactions during weekend hours
• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas and adhere to infection control protocols for home & community care settings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or personal care homes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration and a Certificate issued in the state of Nevada and certification in CPR.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia strongly desired
• Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document care activities
• Demonstrated caregiving skills in long-term or home & community care environments.
• Strong communication skills coupled with compassion and patience for working overnight shifts.
