Aspen Grove Assisted Living is a dedicated assisted living facility in Sturgis, SD, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team and help enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Position Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a safe and caring environment. You will work closely with nurses and caregivers to provide high-quality care while promoting dignity and independence for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report observations to supervisors.
- Ensure residents’ living spaces are clean and comfortable.
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid certification in South Dakota.
- Experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
