Concession Worker

Join our team as a Concession Stand Worker, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind our concession stand. This energetic role involves preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. Your enthusiasm and customer service skills will help create memorable experiences at events, making every guest experience enjoyable and seamless. Whether you're handling food prep, cash handling, or upselling delicious treats, your contribution will be vital to our success. We are a mobile concession company that travels to various events throughout the state of Colorado, including Douglas County Fairgrounds, the Denver Coliseum, 13th Floor, & Hudson Gardens. This flexible role is part-time & great for supplemental income!

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including snacks, beverages, and quick-service menu offerings with speed and precision
• Operate POS systems through Square to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash transactions, handle cash safely, and give correct change while maintaining balanced cash drawers
• Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and food prep areas
• Restock supplies and ensure the concession area is organized and fully stocked at all times
• Assist with food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a kitchen, specifically operating and cleaning fryers
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for smooth transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling & sales calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a restaurant, fast-food, or grocery store setting is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings
• Comfortable with large crowds & loud noises
• MUST have reliable transportation
