Aspen Careers is partnering with a global law firm to find a Legal Assistant for their Pittsburgh, PA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a respected legal team while providing essential administrative support to the “Rainmaker” of the firm.
Why You Should Apply:
- Support a team of attorneys in the corporate and trademark practice areas and c-suite executives
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and reports
- Manage Outlook calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate complex travel itineraries
- Handle document production: drafting correspondence, creating templates, and facilitating court filings
- Assist with billing, time entry, and compliance-related tasks
- Maintain legal files and manage electronic case records
- Serve as a liaison with clients, courts, and internal departments
- Participating in Pro Bono work/events
The Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma required/Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years supporting attorneys and c-suite in a law firm
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); 3E Billing experience is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Solid understanding of legal terminology and documentation
