Sr. Manager, Marketing and Business Developme

Our Senior Manager, Marketing & Business Development will engage with our leadership team to collaborate effectively with our customers, align on strategic initiatives, and lead in the planning and development of new products that supports ASM NEXX growth. The incumbent will drive collaboration across sales, business development, and technology to ensure consistent storytelling and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties / Essential Functions:

• Develop an excellent understanding of market segments, sizes, key player shares, plans and strategic positioning to identify and analyze technology trends
• Develop and nurture strong partnerships with customers, industry drivers and 3rd party organizations, deriving understanding of technology, customer and market insight
• Maintain relationships with key customer technical marketing teams and have a deep understanding of relevant leading edge process, technology and roadmaps
• Work with Business Directors and Product Managers to ensure roadmaps and CIPs are aligned with market requirements
• Support business leadership and sales in strategic customer engagements
• Develop Technical Marketing Collateral to be used in customer and executive presentations
• Support customer interactions for technical review meetings, create and manage customer presentations
• Collaborate with ASMPT marketing team on behalf of NEXX and manage strategic marketing plans for NEXX products
• Define market research approach, methodology and integration of findings into go-to-market approach
• Enhance product definition and positioning using competitive information, market and product analysis
• Develop high quality marketing materials: presentations, press releases, articles, promotional materials for conferences and launches, etc.
• Conduct internal marketing communications - seminars, presentations, reports

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing or related and 15 years of experience in Marketing & Business development. Electronics/equipment or semiconductor experience preferred.
• Proven track record to bring alignment, negotiate and provide guidance to partners, and drive projects to completion
• Experience in reporting on marketing/sales performance, analyzing data, and communicating business insights that drive action
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan, execute and accomplish goals.
• Management experience in small to medium sized teams in a high-growth and dynamic matrixed environment.

Work Environment:

This job operates in multiple areas, including a professional office environment, and clean-room manufacturing environment. Incumbent will routinely use standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.

Expected Hours of work:

Days and hours of work are typically through Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
