This position is for a Module Production Engineer with innovative attitude to work in the Production Engineering department in Wilton Factory. Candidate will work with cross-sectors employees to develop new manufacturing processes for new product introduction and improve existing processes for volume production.
Role and responsibilities
- Introduce new products into production in an existing “Concurrent Engineering” environment.
- Develop production sequence and routings.
- Develop technical work instructions.
- Support in-production issues escalated by First line support production engineers with concise troubleshooting and action plans.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and cycle time reduction.
- Review failure analysis reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure.
- Interface with internal and external customers to address module failure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Own SPC development and implementation
- Support EC and design reviews
Education and experience
Master Degree in Optics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering Degree with 0-2 years of work experience
Bachelor Degree in Optics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering Degree with 2 years experience in a technical production environment
