Role And Responsibilities
As the Head of Planning Wilton Factory, you’ll lead a team of 10–30 professionals and collaborate across departments to ensure planning processes are aligned, efficient, and future-ready.
You Will
- Lead master planning cycles and maintain baseline capability plans with strong change control.
- Consolidate inputs from departments to create aligned, feasible production plans.
- Identify and manage constraints such as facilities, tools, and staffing.
- Present planning scenarios to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee build plans for Assembly and Optical Fabrication.
- Resolve bottlenecks and ensure readiness for production starts.
- Set priorities for material releases and coordinate with logistics and supplier teams.
- Define and monitor inventory levels and lead reduction initiatives.
- Develop buffer strategies to support factory operations.
To succeed as the Head of Planning Wilton Factory, you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business administration.
- At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or business operations.
- Proven leadership in operational planning or program management.
- Experience working with planning systems such as SAP or similar.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cross-functional collaboration.
