Legends|ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a F&B Runner at the Aquarium of the Pacific. As a Food and Beverage Runner, you will be responsible for delivering products to all concession stands in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter, proactive problem solver, and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to all concession stands in a timely manner.
- Assist with location inventory and manage warehouse transactions.
- Maintain a safe working environment and sanitary work area.
- Set up and break down portable food service equipment.
- Clean and organize concession stands and warehouse areas.
- Accurately complete paperwork for each delivery.
- Interact effectively with team members in a diverse workforce.
- Follow all Food & Beverage rules and regulations set by ASM Global.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Certifications: Must have current ServeSafe/Foodhandler certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Must have customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- This position may require working inside or outside depending on events.
- Exposure to loud sounds during some events.
