The Role:
We are seeking a seasoned sales expert to drive revenue growth through the sale of premium seating, boxes, suites, and exclusive memberships at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. As the Director of Premium Sales and Experiences, you will develop and execute strategic initiatives to maximize revenue for seasonal and multi-year agreements, as well as single event rentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to target corporate clients and individual customers.
- Cultivate new business relationships while maintaining existing client accounts.
- Leverage proven track record in sales to enhance guest experiences and elevate the value of premium seating and experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work closely with Food and Beverage Director to strategize initiatives for premium lounges and in-suite service.
- Act as venue sales ambassador in the community, partnering with local organizations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of premium areas ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Manage ticket distribution to clients in conjunction with the sales coordinator.
- Track and manage expenses within budget constraints and oversee accounts receivable and payables.
- Foster internal relationships with departmental co-workers and key inter-departmental contacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in sports/entertainment management, marketing, business, or related field required.
- Five years of direct business-to-business sales experience in premium seat sales, sponsorship, media, hospitality, or sports marketing.
- Proven track record in relationship building and networking across all levels of an organization.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, highly motivated, assertive, and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
