ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Concessions Cook at Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center.
Summary:
Prepare a variety of high-quality products. Operate and clean fryers, grill, and general kitchen equipment. Requires good customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
Cook and package batches of food.
Deliver high quality products.
Keep food spoilage below minimum.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, each stand must be cleaned after each event.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Follow rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.
Clean, stock and inventory workstation, checking inventory in and out, and being accountable for all inventories.
Regular attendance is an essential job function.
Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Duties:
Reports to Food and Beverage Manager in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.
Follows all rules and regulations which apply to SAVOR Food and Beverage Division.
Develop constructive working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
Organized.
Positive attitude and neat appearance.
Must speak and understand English.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good attitude required.

Work ethic encourages quality in a team environment.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

Other Qualifications:
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands:
This position requires ability to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting, carrying, moving to lift up to 45 lbs.
