Senior Estimator – Water/Wastewater Construction

Aslan Construction is seeking a senior estimator to prepare and submit bids for water/wastewater treatment construction and other heavy industrial projects as well as pursuing negotiated opportunities. Estimator will be involved in design build budgeting, value engineering, constructability review, marketing, and relationship building. We will consider developmental candidates who have appropriate background.
Ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of treatment plant work as well as heavy industrial trades, cost accounting, risk assessment and sense of strategic approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree
- 10 years experience with water/wastewater construction
- 5 years full time estimating
- Experience with municipal and federal contracting
Responsibilities:
- Quantity takeoff and pricing for projects up to $50mil
- Risk assessment
- Relationship building with Engineers, Owners, Subcontractors and Vendors
- Contract and change order negotiation
- Value Engineering review
- Design Build pricing and plan review
- Proposal preparation
- Coordinate with and manage personnel to meet bidding deadlines
Salary – Base $125k-200K
