Position Summary
The Overnight Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring active trips, communicating with chauffeurs, tracking flights, assigning last-minute bookings, and ensuring all rides run on schedule. This requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle time-sensitive situations with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time trips and ensure on-time performance
- Track incoming and outgoing flights
- Respond to client calls, texts, and emails during overnight hours
- Communicate updates to chauffeurs and reassign trips as needed
- Enter new reservations and confirm booking details
- Handle urgent issues (delays, route changes, breakdowns) with calm problem-solving
- Prepare morning handoff notes for the daytime dispatch team
- Maintain accuracy of schedules, vehicle assignments, and driver logs
Qualifications
- Prior dispatch, logistics, call center, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (phone, text, email)
- Excellent multitasking and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during time-sensitive situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Tech-savvy; comfortable with dispatching systems and Google Workspace
- Transportation/limousine industry experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work overnight hours consistently
