Marketing & Business Development Intern (Unpaid)

Are you a college student interested in marketing, business development, advertising, sales, or social media? Want hands-on experience helping a growing mental health practice attract new clients and expand its reach?

The Remix Center is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern to help increase brand awareness, attract new clients, strengthen referral partnerships, and grow social media engagement.

About Us

The Remix Center is a mental health practice providing therapy, workshops, speaking, training, and consulting services. We help individuals and organizations manage pressure, build confidence, reduce burnout, and improve well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and client conversion.
• Research potential referral partners and opportunities to reach new clients.
• Assist with and track marketing campaigns for therapy services, programs, workshops, and speaking engagements.
• Create and schedule social media content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Assist with email marketing, outreach, and promotional campaigns.
• Track potential client leads, inquiries, referral sources, and growth.
• Review marketing results to help identify what's working and where improvements can be made.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Marketing, Business Development, Advertising, Sales, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Available 6–8 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation for occasional Dallas-area vendor events and meetings.
• Must be at least 20 years old.

Ideal Candidate

• Background, coursework, or strong interest in marketing or sales.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms.
• Familiar with Canva and major social media platforms.
• Interested in lead generation, client growth, and business development.
• Passionate about mental health and education.
