Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems in residential settings.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure efficiency and longevity of equipment.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs and system upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance tips clearly to homeowners.
- Maintain compliance with EPA regulations regarding refrigerants and ensure all work adheres to safety standards.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed.
- Drive company vehicle safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites.
