Job Title: Sr Software Engineer (AWS Developer)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $70/hr - $72.46/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer with strong Python expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-native applications. You will focus on building robust backend systems, deploying serverless microservices, and automating infrastructure workflows using the AWS SDK for Python.
Key Responsibilities & Required Qualifications:
Cloud Development: Build and deploy serverless architectures and microservices using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
Backend Engineering: Design scalable, clean, and efficient backend code using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
Data & Storage: Implement and manage relational and NoSQL storage tiers via Amazon DynamoDB, RDS, and Amazon S3.
Automation: Automate AWS resource management, events, and scaling policies using Python scripting and EventBridge.
Infrastructure as Code: Define and maintain cloud environments using AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, or Terraform.
CI/CD & DevOps: Configure delivery pipelines using Git, Docker containerization, and AWS Developer tools.
Security & Observability: Configure IAM roles following least-privilege standards and set monitoring/alarms using AWS CloudWatch.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
Active certification such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development cycles and remote collaboration tools

While the final, individual compensation and any available benefits will be determined by your employer of record ASK Staffing, Inc (and not COX), factors that will be included in making the final determination may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location where the job is performed. The starting hourly compensation may be subject to change.
