Job Title: QC Systems Specialist 1
Location: Bend Oregon 97703 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay rate: $43 hr. on W2 AI
Job Description:
Preferred qualifications: Are there any "nice-to-have" skills or experience that would make a candidate stand out?
Prior experience with a LIMS system; specifically with the system from Labvantage
QC experience
Change management
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in science (minimum)
Work Experience:
- Minimum three years prior experience is expected; advanced degrees in science may be considered to be sufficient
Job Tasks:
- Translate URS requirements into practical system solutions with the system integrator (external expert company)
- Conduct informal UAT to verify functionality before formal testing
- Enable IT & QA to deliver high-quality FS and DS on time and in full (OTIF)
- Assess business criticality of Phase 2 requirements to minimize complexity (“Remove & Reduce” – favor process change over configuration)
- Support interface realization (MES, SAP, CDS) by providing and executing proper test cases
- Identify critical issues and escalate strategically when necessary
- Align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth integration
- Run business test cases to verify accuracy of configuration
Technical Skills:
- Deep QC process knowledge (current & future global standards)
- Basic project management (timelines, deliverables, dependencies)
- GMP & CSV expertise to ensure compliance and validation
- Technical fluency – able to challenge IT and external vendors on technical topics
