Account Manager- Midwest
This position can reside anywhere in the Midwest, ideally in Indiana.
Position Description:
The Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with a new and existing customer base, sells our products, ensures client satisfaction and develops new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
- Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
- Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
- Communicates any contract proposals and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
- Responsible for maintaining current business levels at each customer in their assigned territory.
- Works closely with the ASK team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
- Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business.
- Communicates the customer's goals and needs to the commercial group in order to satisfy the customer's interests.
- Follows ASK Chemicals legal and ethical standards.
- Personal sales/growth goals are aligned with company goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree; specific field may be substituted with equivalent experience
- Foundry experience preferred; general manufacturing experience may be suitable
- MBA a plus
- Minimum 3 years of Account/Project management
- Business savvy, motivated, goal-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with people
- Ability to work in a team and listens effectively
- Strong written and communication skills
- High organizational skills
- Extremely detail oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel ( 75%)
- Technical competence and ability to analyze problems
