Account Manager- Midwest

This position can reside anywhere in the Midwest, ideally in Indiana.


Position Description:

The Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with a new and existing customer base, sells our products, ensures client satisfaction and develops new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  • Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Communicates any contract proposals and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
  • Responsible for maintaining current business levels at each customer in their assigned territory.
  • Works closely with the ASK team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
  • Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business.
  • Communicates the customer's goals and needs to the commercial group in order to satisfy the customer's interests.
  • Follows ASK Chemicals legal and ethical standards.
  • Personal sales/growth goals are aligned with company goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education / Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree; specific field may be substituted with equivalent experience
  • Foundry experience preferred; general manufacturing experience may be suitable
  • MBA a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of Account/Project management
  • Business savvy, motivated, goal-oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people
  • Ability to work in a team and listens effectively
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • High organizational skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel ( 75%)
  • Technical competence and ability to analyze problems
