Truck Manager / Driver – Furniture Delivery

Overview
Join our team as a Truck Manager/Driver delivering and assembling furniture for a nationally recognized furniture company. In this role you will play an important part in ensuring furniture is delivered safely, assembled correctly, and set up to the customer’s satisfaction. This position involves significant physical labor, including team lifts that can reach up to 380 lbs with a team (weight varies depending on the items on your route), as well as professional assembly of furniture in customers’ homes. Responsibilities
- Deliver and assemble furniture for a nationally recognized furniture company – assembly is a core, daily responsibility of this role
- Perform team lifts of furniture and large household items – depending on items on route, loads can reach up to 380 lbs (not every delivery will be this weight, but you must be prepared); use proper lifting techniques, hand dollies, and equipment at all times
- Safely handle furniture and household items to prevent damage during transit and delivery
- Review routes and navigate stops to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
- Provide professional, courteous customer service during deliveries by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete deliveries and assembly safely and efficiently
- Assist with maintaining an organized truck and keeping warehouse and work areas clean, safe, and organized throughout the day
- Follow all safety procedures and delivery standards at all times
- Alert maintenance needs for truck; conduct pre-trips and post-trips
- Manage the work app to report and properly close out delivery orders
- CDL not required but a plus.

Qualifications & Experience
- Must be physically capable of heavy team lifting – items on your route can weigh up to 380 lbs depending on the delivery. Not every stop will reach this weight, but applicants must be fully prepared for it
- Must be comfortable performing furniture assembly at customer locations as a core daily duty
- Previous experience in furniture delivery, moving services, or warehouse work is preferred but not required
- Experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, or hand trucks is beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills preferred
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation is required
- Dependability and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Schedule & Pay
Start Time: 5:30 AM – route completion (your day ends when all deliveries and assemblies on your route are finished, not at a fixed clock-out time)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday
Pay: Starting at $180 per day
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay
