Maintenance Technician/Handyman for Residential Property A multi-family residential property in South Miami Beach is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician/Handyman who has a solid understanding of general maintenance duties and can perform all types of handyman services.
Job responsibilities :
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting exterior. Perform general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other minor building repairs, including but not limited to, caulking windows and doors, repairing windows, unclogging toilets, fixing leaks, repairing light fixtures, replacing broken doors and locks, patching holes in walls, etc. Perform preventative maintenance of all building equipment's Keep manager informed of status of the facility, its equipment, tools and supplies Maintain inventory and organization of materials, tools and supplies area Procure materials, tools and supplies
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, construction and/or handyman capacity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, carry items and climb Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Dependable with a solid attendance record. EPA certified .High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English. Great people skills and quality maintenance services. Strong organizational skills and efficient work style. Ability to work both independently. Successful completion of required background prior to start of employment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
