ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Photo and Video Assistant to support our creative and marketing teams in producing engaging visual and digital content across photo, video, and social platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a strong creative eye, technical curiosity, and a passion for storytelling through multiple media formats. You’ll assist in all stages of production — from concept development to shooting, editing, and publishing.

• Assist with the planning, shooting, and editing of photo and video content for campaigns, social media, websites, and internal projects.
• Work closely with photographers, videographers, and producers to ensure creative consistency and quality across all content.
• Support the video editing process – color correction, sound, retouching, resizing, reformatting, etc. - for optimal delivery across various platforms.
• Help create pre-production documents, shot lists, and visual concepts
• Show a curiosity for, and proactively share ideas for new and effective ways to create product content to be used in ASICS internal and external communications
• Organize and maintain media files, ensure proper storage, labeling, and version control.
• Adapt seamlessly to evolving workflows and tasks as needed for the different productions within the studio as well as with the studio team on exterior locations
• Experiment with new tools which may or may not include A.I.
• Help set up, test, and maintain cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for photo and video shoots.
• Provide on set support to the production crew with particular attention to the videographers, photographers and digital technicians
• Work with sample and production teams to ensure what is needed is available on set
• Work with stylists to ensure the product is styled accurately
• Apply the ASICS “kaizen” philosophy of continuous testing and improvement - suggest best practices to improve standards, and processes. P
• Play a role in generation of new ideas for content through participation in regular cycles of experimentation based on new techniques and tools such as generative A.I.
• This position is in-office (studio) 5 days a week during normal working hours.
• Occasionally production calls may be required outside of typical working hours since we are a global team servicing global and regional content requests. There may also be occasional irregular hours when production requires extended studio time or goes into overtime

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise work of contract videographers, photographers, editors e.g. ensure post-production editing is completed as per project requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

• Degree in videography/photography or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in content creation, photography, videography, or related field (internships or freelance work welcome).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Capture One, After Effects, or similar)
• Basic understanding of camera operation, lighting, and composition
• Excellent communication and people skills especially ability to communicate with photographic subjects to put them at ease, encourage them and direct them
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Lead and work cross functionally with studio team on special projects as needed
• Must have experience in content production, sports, marketing, photography, or video production

Expected Salary Range: $55,000-75,000/year
