This job duties include designing electrical systems with AutoCAD, creating component specs/BOMs and troubleshooting/debug electrical designs. Other job duties would include programming PLCs, Drives, and HMIs, both in house and at customer sites. Some travel to the continental US is required, around 30% of the time, multi-day extended stays are uncommon.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years PLC, HMI, and servo control and integration experience.
- Experience with schematic design software, AutoCAD.
- Excellent technical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage project hours, schedules, and interface with customers.
- Some travel is required to fulfill responsibilities.
- Field experience with commissioning and starting up PLC based control systems.
- Communications protocols with: AB Ethernet I/P, Devicenet, Bacnet.
- HMI programming skills with software such as: AB FactoryTalk, ViewSE, Proficy.
- Servo & VFD Drive Controls: AB, Control Techniques, ABB.
- PLC programming on: AB, Siemens, Idec and/or Unitronics.
