- Schedule: Mon-Fri, no weekend work!
- Pay range is between $148,300 to $161,600 annually. Can increase based on experience.
- ACRS pays your license, board certification, and DEA renewal fees.
- 32 hours paid continuing education with $800 in training funds annually.
- ACRS pays 100% for employee only HMO/Virtual Plus medical benefits. Additional options are covered anywhere from 75% to 85%.
- Vision insurance is available at a very minimal cost.
- ACRS pays 100% of your life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance on or coinciding with your date of hire.
- Employer paid ORCA card and vanpool program. Free on site parking available at Main Office.
- Paid Time Off:
- 4.8 hours of vacation accrued monthly from day 1, available to use after 6 months of employment.
- 4.8 hours of sick leave, accrued monthly from day 1, available to use once accrued, no waiting period.
- 19.2 hours (max) of wellness leave per year, available to use upon hire, no waiting period. Wellness leave hour amount is subject to proration based on the calendar month of hiring.
- 13 paid holidays annually.

- Employee Assistance Program.
- Performs direct psychiatric functions: assessment and diagnosis of new consumers; prescribes psychiatric medications; medication monitoring; consults with other ACRSs’ medical staff and case managers regarding client care; coordinates referrals to other care providers; performs or assists in crisis intervention.
- Provide in-service education and consultation to ACRS staff, as requested.
- Meets with Medical Director and other clinical staff as scheduled.
- Participates in staff meetings and consultations as schedule Permits. Performs consultations to nursing homes.
- Education and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as MD or DO with board-certified psychiatric credentials and prescribing privileges AND
- Three (3) years experience in psychiatric medicine including one (1) year minimum in community mental health preferred.
- Cultural Humility:
- Ability to provide effective and respectful service to employees, visitors and clients of diverse cultural beliefs and practices.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of: major psychiatric disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder and somatization; psychotropic medications including indications, contraindications, dosages and treatment of side effects; and county mental health system preferred.
- Must have assessment skills necessary for prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medication and basic physical assessment skills necessary for appropriate referral of clients to medical providers.
- Crisis intervention skills, group facilitation skills, skill working with interpreters bilingual/bicultural clinical case managers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Technical Skills:
- Competency in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems like EPIC and efficiently completing documentation in compliance with agency standards.
- Effective ability to navigate a computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, e-mail, and spreadsheet data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation. If using a personal or agency vehicle to fulfill job duties, must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under ACRS’s auto policy. If using personal vehicle, must have current auto insurance.
