Role Description
The Exchange Enrollment Facilitator (Navigator) role at the Asian Community Resource Center is a part-time, on-site position located in Las Vegas, NV. The Navigator will be responsible for connecting community members to available resources, providing guidance on navigating various social service systems, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additional tasks include conducting assessments to determine client needs, assisting with applications or forms, and following up to ensure successful access to services. The Navigator will also be expected to build relationships with local organizations and agencies to foster community partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and documentation skills, including data entry and report preparation
- Familiarity with social service systems, community resources, and client-focused solutions
- Customer service and advocacy skills to support diverse populations
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV and collaborate effectively with a team
- Prior experience in social services, community outreach, or a related field preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in social work, human services, or a related field is a plus
