Hutteball Oremus Architecture is seeking a senior project architect or project designer with a minimum of 15 years’ experience to join our office in Kirkland, WA.
Hutteball Oremus Architecture specializes in K-12 architecture and is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our collaborative studio environment. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals committed to the creation of meaningful architecture.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- 15 years full time experience in an architectural office.
- B. Arch (or equivalent) accredited degree.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to generate thoughtful solutions to architectural problems and prepare design and construction documents.
- Manage a project through all phases from Feasibility through Construction Administration.
- Facilitate user and owner meetings to identify needs and set and manage project goals.
- K-12 Educational Design Experience required.
- Revit and AutoCAD proficiency required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable communicating with clients/consultants.
- Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Desire to mentor coworkers and willingness to learn.
- An engaging work environment with colleagues who are collaborative, creative, and challenging.
- Competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Starting annual salary range is targeted at the Senior Project Architect level ($125,000 – $145,000) depending on experience and qualifications.
