About the Role
The Program Manager is Asia Wild’s primary revenue and program coordination lead and serves as a key external-facing representative of the organization. This role is responsible for executing fundraising-related program strategies that support long-term sustainability while managing donor relationships, strategic partnerships, and the organization’s branding and name-change transition.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on professional with strong systems thinking, communication skills, and project management abilities who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofit environment. Consistent weekday availability during standard business hours is required to support donor engagement, partner coordination, internal collaboration, and time-sensitive program and fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Revenue Support
- Lead individual and major donor-related program efforts, including coordination, cultivation support, and stewardship activities
- Plan and execute year-end and other fundraising-related programs across mail and digital channels in coordination with development leadership
- Coordinate and support board fundraising initiatives and related program deliverables
- Support strategies to increase donor retention, donor upgrades, and donor lifetime value
- Conduct selective grant prospecting support and assist with grant submissions and reporting
Donor Stewardship & Systems
- Oversee donor-related program communications, acknowledgments, and impact reporting
- Serve as a primary user of the donor database (Bloomerang), ensuring data accuracy, reporting, and effective system use
- Maintain organized donor and program records and ensure compliance with donor intent and organizational policies
Partnerships & External Relations
- Prospect, cultivate, and manage programmatic and strategic partnerships aligned with mission and revenue goals
- Lead partnership communications, including requests for project materials, photos, videos, and impact updates
- Identify new partnership and sponsorship opportunities that support program and fundraising objectives
Branding & Name Change Management
- Manage the organization’s name change, branding, and logo transition as it relates to programs, fundraising, and external communications
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, and vendors to support branding initiatives
- Ensure consistent brand application across donor materials, campaigns, and digital platforms
- Align branding rollout with program delivery, fundraising strategy, and donor confidence goals
Cross-Functional Collaboration, Governance & Board Support
- Work closely with finance, IT, and operations to ensure alignment between programs, fundraising systems, and financial reporting
- Demonstrate working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar financial systems (finance experience helpful but not required)
- Participate in contract and vendor coordination related to programs, fundraising, and partnerships
- Prepare regular program and fundraising reports for the Board of Directors
- Organize, manage, and support bi-monthly board meetings, including agenda development in coordination with leadership, preparation and distribution of board materials, presentation of updates, and follow-up on assigned action items
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in nonprofit program management, fundraising coordination, or donor relations
- Strong proficiency with Bloomerang required
- Experience with QuickBooks and financial coordination preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
