With over 65 years of experience, we design, fabricate, and install comprehensive signage solutions across a wide range of environments — from hospitals, universities, and offices to government buildings, and branded corporate spaces.
Position Overview:We are seeking a full-time Installer to join our growing team based in our Harahan facility. This role is hands-on and critical to the execution of high-quality signage solutions, including interior and exterior signs, environmental graphics, and large-scale pylon or monument signs. Installers at ASI work in a range of settings—from finished interiors to active construction zones—and are often the final point of contact representing our brand on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install a wide variety of signage types including:
- Interior ADA-compliant room signs
- Wayfinding and donor recognition systems
- Exterior building letters, monument, and pylon signs
- Vinyl and digitally printed graphics
- Dimensional logos and environmental branding
- Safely operate tools, lifts, and other equipment required for installation
- Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural plans, and installation instructions
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and fabricators to ensure accurate execution
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive customer-facing attitude
- Accurately document work completed, including photos and field notes
- Travel locally and occasionally regionally for projects (overnight travel may be required)
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts, at heights up to 30’
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, problem solve, and work independently or in teams
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (training available)
- Prior experience in sign installation, construction, or vinyl application is a plus
- Familiarity with ADA signage regulations and/or electrical signage installation is a bonus
