Sales Department | Full-Time | Blue Ash, OH Reports to: Sales Manager / General Manager
We are looking for a driven, organized, and client-focused Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you'll own a portfolio of house accounts, identify new business opportunities, and guide clients through the entire process—from initial contact and product selection all the way through installation and beyond. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of house accounts, maintaining regular contact to stay current on client projects, introduce new products and services, and drive reorders and referrals
- Generate new sales leads by staying informed on industry trends, monitoring local business activity, and leveraging client relationships
- Determine client needs and match them to the company's products, services, and capabilities
- Prepare accurate product quotations, project proposals, and client presentations in a timely manner
- Gather and convey project specifications to the project management team to ensure smooth production and installation
- Collaborate with project management staff to ensure successful installations and a high level of client satisfaction
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, materials, manufacturing processes, and selling terms and conditions
- Achieve sales quotas as outlined in the compensation plan
- Participate in training programs and adhere to company policies and procedures
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 days: You've developed a solid understanding of our products, processes, and key clients, and you're comfortable with our quoting and documentation systems.
First 60 days: You're actively engaging house accounts independently and building a visible pipeline of opportunities.
First 90 days: You're closing deals and generating activity that demonstrates a clear path to quota.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Experience in architectural, construction, design, or graphics-related fields is a significant advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious
- Goal-driven and able to work independently
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position offers a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation tied to sales growth. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement contributions.
WORK SCHEDULE
Core hours are Monday through Friday with flexibility in start and end times based on business needs and supervisor approval.
